By using the services of River Calder Stone Limited, including grab hire, aggregate purchase and delivery, and use of our recycling facility, you agree to our terms and conditions.
All quotes are valid for 14 days unless stated otherwise, and full payment is required prior to delivery or service unless credit terms are agreed.
Grab hire customers must ensure safe and adequate access for our vehicles, with any necessary permits obtained in advance; standard hire includes 30 minutes on-site, after which waiting charges apply, and only inert, non-hazardous waste will be collected.
Aggregate deliveries are kerbside unless otherwise arranged, with the customer responsible for safe access; aggregates are non-returnable once delivered.
Use of our recycling facility is subject to waste acceptance rules, weighbridge charges based on weight, and compliance with all safety instructions; prohibited materials include hazardous waste, liquids, and asbestos. We reserve the right to refuse unsafe loads or access, and are not liable for damage caused by unsuitable ground conditions, delays outside our control, or breaches of these terms. Late payments may incur interest in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.
Cancellations within 24 hours may be chargeable, and no refunds are given for partial loads or delivered aggregates.
Customers are responsible for ensuring safe working areas free from hazards; we reserve the right to suspend or refuse service if safety standards are not met.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and all disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
Due to the nature of our products and services, River Calder Stone Limited does not offer returns or refunds once materials have been delivered or services have been completed. This includes all aggregates, boulders, decorative stones and waste management services.
Orders cancelled less than 24 hours before the scheduled service or delivery may be subject to a cancellation fee.

Any refund requests must be submitted in writing within 7 days of delivery or service, including supporting evidence (such as photographs). Approved refunds will be processed back to the original payment method within 7-10 working days.
We encourage all customers to carefully check order details, delivery requirements, and access conditions before confirming their booking to avoid unnecessary costs.
